 Small Groups

Seniors Ministry

 Our Senior Adult Ministry is not a place to sit back and relax, but a place to get plugged in to the work of the Kingdom!  Our senior adults are an essential part of many ministries within our church.  NBCC is a multi-generational church with a fast-growing younger population, but our seniors still are an important part of our church body.  Our senior adults enjoy Bible studies, fellowships, trips and opportunities of service in our church and community.

Senior Adult Ministry Mission Statement:  The Senior Adult Ministry seeks to glorify God as we continue to reach the senior adults of New Beginnings Community Church Windsor and those in the Windsor area, to enhance their lives, encourage them to grow in the Lord, and to challenge them to serve the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul and strength. We would love for you to be a part of this vibrant ministry, as we spur one another on toward love and good deeds.

                     And remember Proverbs 16:31..."Gray hair is a crown of glory;
                                              it is gained in a righteous life."

Prayer Blanket

Prayer Blanket Ministry

The prayer blanket ministry was started about 2002. The ladies spend time together knitting the blankets and then pray over them that their recipients would sense the presence of God as they wrap the blanket around them. Blankets have been taken to the hospital, nursing homes or delivered personally to a private home where someone may be in need of encouragement.
The prayer blanket ministry was based upon Jeremiah 29:11  "For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, they are plans for good and not evil. To give you a future and a hope."
